2018 British Cycling National Track Championships

We’ve just wrapped up three exciting days delivering sports presentation for British Cycling’s 2018 National Track Championships at Manchester’s National Cycling Centre.

With 29 races across five sessions featuring the UK’s leading club cyclists, both amateur and pro, and intense race formats such as the Keirin and Team Pursuit plus para-cycling races, this event delivered high octane thrills. The capacity crowds and their massive enthusiasm testifies to the appeal of track cycling.

And our job was to up the ante further with fan engagement activity, in-vision presenter content, video creation, music and video screen inserts plus a host of other event management tasks.

Our Red Sky at Night team of Roddy Scott, Abby Coyle, Karen Schultz, Alex Urqhart and Jenny Gilmour was complemented by our brilliant in-vision presenters Laura Winter, Marty Macdonald and Carl Lawrenson.

Everyone did a fantastic job, but a special call out for Roddy Scott, who juggled show-calling on the day with on-the-fly video creation and editing.
